Alumni of the prestigious St. Xaviers, Kolkata and equipped with a law degree, he started off his career with American Care. After a short stint at Care, he decided to embark on a completely different journey of starting his own business. With absolutely no experience of business in a family of professionals and educationists as his siblings, his only support was his wife, the daughter of an affluent and enterprising businessman. He started his career by setting up a small store selling nuts and bolts to small businesses in and around, the small but flourishing town, of Burdwan. Only through sheer grit and determination he has been able to steer his ship through in-numerous storms and establish himself as an undisputed leader of the market of Powertools and Machineries in the eastern region. His small store has now grown to occupy of more than 14000sq.ft of retail space spanning multiple locations, over 25000sq.ft. of warehousing, dealing in more than 15000 products, his business interests include – retailing, wholesale, import and manufacturing. Ask him about his success and he will humbly suggest – “We have just yet started!”

A school dropout and the most enterprising lady of the company. Her business acumen and enterprising nature has always provided invaluable guidance on this amazing journey. Along with raising two kids she dedicated her remaining time to the day to day business of the company and while her husband was doing all the weight lifting and running around for the company work, she saw to it that all the things were in order behind him. She has helped build and strengthen some of the most enduring relationships for the company which are going strong till date.

After graduating he went on to acquire professional degrees in Computer Hardware Engineering and Graphics and animation designing. After joining the company at the lowest rungs of management. He toiled and immersed himself in work to understand all the aspects of the company operation and gradually worked himself up finally taking his position as the Chief Operations Officer in the company.

After graduation he joined an industrial company in Dubai, UAE. During a short stint in the company which lasted 2years he experienced himself in retail, warehousing, industrial relations and international purchasing. With this experience he joined Apan John and since the last Twelve years he has managed to expand the domestic trade and Import Division of the company manifold.
