Apan John - Drum Seeder

This Machine is used for sowing pre-germinated paddy seeds directly in wet-land field. It is a manually pulled implement which helps the farmer to sow 8 rows at one draw. It does not require any mechanical power for its operation.
No need for preparation of seed – bed.
Pre-germinated seeds sown in straight rows.
Maintains uniformity of seed rate, hence, reduces seed requirement rate by about 50%.
Reduces wastage of seeds.
Needs less labour.
Increases yield by 15% – 20% (up to 1 ton per hectare)
